The premise for The Highwaymen seemed interesting, cool and refreshing; taking the famous Bonnie & Clyde story and telling it from the perspective of two retired Texas Rangers commissioned to track them down – but sadly, the film was slow and dull.

I’m feeling positive about True Detective season 3

After season 2 of True Detective well and truly flopped, I was ready to throw in the towel and not bother with any other instalments, but then they announced Mahershala Ali as the lead and that changed everything, so I had to give it a go. And I’m glad I did.

Solo: A Star Wars Story – Film Review

The Edge of Seventeen: Film Review

I had no idea what The Edge of Seventeen would be about but I love Hailee Steinfeld and Woody Harrelson and high school-based dramas/comedies so I had to check it out and it turned out to be one of the smartest, boldest films in that genre. I was so impressed.
