Rihanna talks Chris Brown in Vogue

Rihanna has been fortunate enough to land herself the Vogue cover for a second time!

Check out the pictures for the magazine’s November issue which were shot by Anne Leibovitz.

In the accompanying article, Rihanna spoke about Chris Brown saying that she has no closure.

“To the world, I feel like there’s no closure. There’s some obsession that’s continued even throughout when we weren’t friends or couldn’t be friends at all. Hated each other. The world hasn’t let go. They haven’t seen any progress in our friendship, because they don’t see anything, really, besides the song.”

The Diamonds singer also opens how about her dismal dating life, claiming she hasn’t been on a date in two years.

“I would love to go on a date. You don’t think that? I’m a woman. A young woman, vibrant, and I love to have fun. And I have too many vaginas around me at this point. Seriously, all I want is a guy to take me out and make me laugh for a good hour and take my a** back home. He doesn’t even have to come up. All I want is a conversation for an hour.”

Lady Gaga’s Vogue cover

Lady Gaga is gracing the cover of Vogue for their September issue and she was so proud that she decided to tweet the cover photo and one exclusive inside shot.

Doesn’t her hair just look crazy?! It must be a wig! If not, that must have taken FOREVER to style! She is also incredibly pale but I think the contrast is brilliant between her skin and the Marc Jacobs dress. It is a beautiful colour. In the second picture she revealed, she is wearing just a Steven Jones hat. But DAMN, it is a gigantic hat!

I’m amazed it managed to stay on her head to be honest! The cover is Gaga’s second for Vogue and it marks the 120th anniversary of the magazine.

Gaga was obviously very excited about her cover, tweeting, “AHHH! The Vogue Express dropped off the SEPTEMBER ISSUE yesterday morning. IM A COVER GIRL, and ITS FAB! Can’t wait to show u tonight!”

No surprise really, a Vogue cover is quite an honour!

Also in Gaga news, a picture surfaced online of Gaga in a wedding dress sparking rumours that she is thinking about marrying Taylor Kinney. She later cleared up the allegations by saying it is her best friend’s wedding but she made them all try on wedding dresses while having a fitting at Vera Wang. I have to say, I love Gaga’s dress!

Met Ball: Best & Worst Dressed

So many celebs were out in force last night to attend New York’s top social event, The Met Ball.

Formally known as the Costume Institute Gala, the Ball is a annual event celebrating the opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. The gala has been going since 1948 but has been held in different parts of the museum over time.

The gala consists of a dinner and cocktail hour though it is really more about celebrating fashion which means guests are expected to dress in high-end, designer dresses. Staff at Vogue oversee what celebrities are invited so the celebrities in attendance last night should feel very honoured!

However, despite the big emphasis this night puts on fashion, in my eyes, some of the dresses were simply awful. I probably disliked more dresses than loved. Here is my best and worst outfits of the evening.
