The Predator: Film Review

Besides the 1987 original, I haven’t been bothered about seeing any of the other instalments in the Predator franchise, but I wanted to take a chance on The Predator because of director Shane Black (who actually had a small role in the original), the A+ cast, and because the trailer made it look pretty cool. Shame it’s a bit of a mess then.

White Bird in a Blizzard: Review

I will watch anything with Shailene Woodley in because I think she is great but the story in White Bird in a Blizzard is just boring and forgettable. It is really hard to write a review about a movie that simply gives a ‘meh’ response, but I will try!

In 1988, teenager Kat Connors (Woodley) has to come to terms with the sudden disappearance of her troubled mother (Eva Green). This coming-of-age type tale shows her learning to deal with it for years to come.
