My Top Ten Movies of 2014

2014 has been a great year for movies, but despite that, reaching my top 10 was not very hard at all. There were many films that I had such high expectations for so I couldn’t help but feel disappointed when I watched them (e.g. Interstellar), so they did not make the list. However, there were others I was dubious or not convinced about and they blew me away – so obviously, they made the cut. I’ve picked a good variety of blockbusters, indies, franchises and originals that you should do yourself a favour and see.

The Imitation Game: Film Review

I cannot fault this at all. It is such a beautiful film and Benedict Cumberbatch is absolutely brilliant as Alan Turing. I couldn’t believe that I didn’t know this story before and now I want everyone to know his contribution to the war effort and the injustice he suffered afterwards.

Films for November

Interstellar

I have been waiting for the release of this epic sci-fi movie for a long time and I am so ready to see this now. The plot is a closely guarded secret but we know that Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway embark on a space mission to save the human race from destructing Earth. I love everything Christopher Nolan does, I think he is a total genius, so I have very high hopes for this. Michael Caine and Jessica Chastain also star. Released: 7th November
