What I think about films, TV and celebs!
I love Maggie Gyllenhaaal (particularly when she waved at me at the BAFTAs years ago) and I think she is a fantastic actress – something which she continues to prove in The Kindergarten Teacher, a gripping drama in which she plays a morally questionable teacher.
I wasn’t super excited about Alita: Battle Angel but I decided to check it out and I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I have a feeling it’s going to be a box office flop which is a shame because it’s actually quite good.
I liked the first two Maze Runner books and their film adaptations but the third instalment, which was delayed due to Dylan O’Brien‘s onset accident, kinda snuck up on me. I had forgotten about it, couldn’t really remember what happened previously, and didn’t have time to read the book. Despite this, I actually enjoyed it a lot.
