Papi Chulo: Film Review

The Nice Guys: Film Review


The problem with The Nice Guys was that I didn’t get to catch a preview screening, like usual, so I was swept up by reviews and friends saying how funny it is. That meant when it came to me watching it, my expectations were sky high and it fell a tad short. It is still hilarious, and I’m so glad original scripts like this are still getting made, but I had stupidly let the hype ruin my experience.

American Horror Story: Hotel is just damn gross and nasty

I had my first experience of American Horror Story and I am neither convinced that I liked it, or that I will continue watching because it is just nasty, grim and nonsensical. It is hard to enjoy a show where depravity and perversion are the name of the game, especially when you don’t know anybody or understand that the hell is going on.

Magic Mike XXL: Film Review


The XXL in Magic Mike XXL does a great job in describing what you are going to get in this male stripper sequel ā€“ it is bigger, bolder, sexier and much more fun. Iā€™m never going to criticise a movie where we see Channing Tatum (Mike) dancing as I LOVE his moves, but I would still say I prefer the 2012 original.
