Star Wars: The Last Jedi – Film Review

For The Force Awakens, my excitement was off the charts and I thought I could burst with anticipation and when I saw it, I loved it 100%, glossing over its flaws because I was so happy it was back and gave me what I wanted. With The Last Jedi, I just didn’t have that same level and because of this, I cast a more critical eye, even though I’m sure it gives fans exactly what they want.

Twin Peaks is finally getting somewhere! Best episode so far

I have been patient with the Twin Peaks revival. Yes, there have been some great moments in the first six episodes but they have been slow and weird and, in the case of the last two, not much really happened. I started to lose interest and that feeling of excitement before watching an episode but that changed with this week’s, which was fantastic.

I don’t want a Big Little Lies season two

Big Little Lies, which ended in the U.S. aaaages ago, finally got its finale in the U.K. this week and I LOVED it. I enjoyed the whole show and I was sad that we wouldn’t be getting more episodes but upon further reflection, I’ve come to the conclusion that I don’t want there to be a season two.

Well isn’t 99 Homes a bundle of laughs?! Yes, I am being sarcastic. 99 Homes is a gritty, depressing drama that will leave you feeling so bummed about life. While it may not have filled me with joy, I can still appreciate the tremendous performance by Andrew Garfield.
