The Sisters Brothers: LFF Film Review

I missed the press screening of The Sisters Brothers at the Venice Film Festival and I was gutted because it has the most incredible cast – which includes Joaquin Phoenix, John C. Reilly, Riz Ahmed and Jake Gyllenhaal – so I dropped lucky when I managed to snag a ticket to a public LFF screening.

The Lobster: Film Review

The Lobster is a brilliant, thought-provoking film, but it will not suit everybody because it is so flipping weird. I would urge readers to check out the synopsis before you go otherwise it is going to take a while to piece the puzzle together – it is still a head-stratcher, but having context certainly helps.
