Today the nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards were announced and this is a summary of my thoughts reading the shortlist:
What my first BRIT Awards experience was like
In case you didn’t notice from my previous posts – my picture gallery and behind-the-scenes gossip – I went to the BRITs for the first time ever last night. It was also my first time inside an actual awards show, not to mention a live one, and I had no idea what to really expect. Here is what my first BRIT Awards experience was like.
What you didn’t see on TV at the 2019 BRIT Awards
Like I said in my BRIT Awards picture post, I had never been inside an awards show before and certainly not one that is televised live so it was a new and exciting experience.
The Front Runner: Film Review
I heard a lot of great things about The Front Runner during the London Film Festival (where I missed it) and I must admit that while Jason Reitman has made a good film, I found myself unsatisfied and wanting more.
Top Films for December
It’s the start of December which means it’s time for the next movie preview! Here is my top selection for movies coming out in the UK across December.
My Christopher Nolan top five
Christopher Nolan‘s latest effort Dunkirk comes out on Friday and while I’m in the minority of people who didn’t love it (read my review here), it certainly makes my top five.
Top Films for March 2017
It’s the start of the month which means it must be movie preview time! I’ve got you covered from superhero movies, Disney live-action reboots to some awesome independent release. Check out my picks!
Logan: Film Review
I wasn’t that fussed about Logan in the beginning because I didn’t love his first instalment and I didn’t even bother watching The Wolverine but I’m glad I checked it out because it is brilliant and one of the strongest films in the X-Men franchise.
Logan: Berlinale Film Review
I wasn’t that fussed about Logan in the beginning because I didn’t love his first instalment and I didn’t even bother watching The Wolverine but I’m glad I checked it out because it is brilliant and one of the strongest films in the X-Men franchise.
