I originally saw My Days of Mercy at the 2018 BFI Flare Festival, a celebration of LGBTQ cinema, and it’s finally getting a U.K. cinema release today, although I can’t actually find any cinemas showing it. That’s a shame because lead actors Ellen Page and Kate Mara, who play lovers on opposite sides of a political debate, put in good performances.
The Cured: Film Review
We have seen many zombie films and TV shows in recent years so I didn’t really think we needed another one. However, The Cured has found a new, fresh way into the genre, and it was pretty damn interesting.

Freeheld: Film Review
Freeheld has been out in America for a long time and the reviews haven’t been that great but I had still been keen to watch it. I’m glad it is finally in cinemas here so people can learn about this important story in LGBT rights history.

It’s the start of a new month which means my usual ‘what to watch’ list.
