Vice received the most nominations for this year’s Golden Globes so I just assumed it would be a movie I would like and I was excited to check it out – so naturally, I was surprised that I didn’t like the movie much at all.

Entebbe: Film Review

Most dramatisations of real-life incidents take the interesting facts and add drama to them to make them as cinematic and exciting as possible. Entebbe doesn’t do that – in fact, it manages to take an interesting real-life hijacking and make it seem quite flat and straightforward.

The Limehouse Golem: Film Review

I didn’t know an awful lot about The Limehouse Golem except it starred Douglas Booth and Bill Nighy (enough reason to watch any movie) and it’s certainly not what I expected from a Victorian murder mystery but I enjoyed it very much.
