The Lego Movie 2: Film Review

I was a huge fan of 2014’s The Lego Movie – it was hilarious and so so clever – but that years ago now and we’ve had The Lego Batman Movie since then and I didn’t love that one as much (and I didn’t even watch the Ninjago one). So I had no idea what to expect from the second outing – full title The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part – so I’m pleased to report that it is just as funny and smart as the first.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom – Film Review

I am a huge fan of the Jurassic Park franchise, but I wasn’t thrilled about Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom at any point, not even feeling excited when I went to see it yesterday. Avengers: Infinity War – Film Review

Trying to wrangle so many characters and storylines together to make one gigantic crossover movie seemed like an impossible task and I had no idea how the Russo brothers would do it – but somehow they have. Despite the hype and anticipation, Avengers: Infinity War manages to meet expectations and even exceed them. So impressed.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Film Review

Like everyone else, I was surprised how much I liked the first Guardians of the Galaxy and it did so well against low expectations. The problem with the sequel, like all follow-ups, was that it had pressure to be better, or at least as good as, its predecessor, which is something Vol.2 didn’t manage to achieve.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 European premiere: My pics

 

On Monday night, the cast of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 came to London to premiere to movie at the Hammersmith Apollo, which is traditionally a music venue. It was an odd choice and like no premiere I’ve ever seen, for better or worse, but I took plenty of pictures of it all to show you.
