The Dead Don’t Die: Film Review

I was excited about Jim Jarmusch‘s new zombie comedy, The Dead Don’t Die, because I like so many members of the ridiculously amazing star-studded cast, but to say I was let down is quite the understatement.

Lean on Pete: Film Review

Lean on Pete was a movie I missed at the London Film Festival, and it was only afterwards that I realised I missed out on something special. I made it a priority to check it out ahead of its release, and I’m glad I did because it is so good.

Golden Exits: Berlinale Film Review

Met Ball 2015: Best & Worst Dressed

yes17

Forget the Oscars, forget the Grammys… The Met Ball is officially the biggest night on the fashion calendar because it is ALL about the red carpet. Met Ball: Best & Worst Dressed

So many celebs were out in force last night to attend New York’s top social event, The Met Ball.

Formally known as the Costume Institute Gala, the Ball is a annual event celebrating the opening of the Metropolitan Museum’s fashion exhibit at the Costume Institute. The gala has been going since 1948 but has been held in different parts of the museum over time.

The gala consists of a dinner and cocktail hour though it is really more about celebrating fashion which means guests are expected to dress in high-end, designer dresses. Staff at Vogue oversee what celebrities are invited so the celebrities in attendance last night should feel very honoured!

However, despite the big emphasis this night puts on fashion, in my eyes, some of the dresses were simply awful. I probably disliked more dresses than loved. Here is my best and worst outfits of the evening.

Lea Michele

Amy Adams

Jessica Alba

Emily Blunt

Hilary Swank

Dianna Agron

WORST

Chloe Sevigny

Elizabeth Banks
