Lady has definitely gone Gaga!

Lady Gaga truly out-crazied herself at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday by dressing as a man named Joe Calderone.

The star opened the ceremony with You and I. “Joe Calderone” is part of the video for the song, but Lady Gaga decided to play that character all night. She had no costume changes the whole night- just a plain white t-shirt and a black suit. She looked quite realistic I must say (see picture below).

Not only did Gaga perform a song as Joe, she opened it with a huge monologue about Gaga and how they know each other. It was very odd. Definitely check it out. I wasn’t quite sure where she was going with it and I wanted her to hurry up and start singing coz her speech was embarrassing! “He” also accepted Lady Gaga’s awards on her behalf.

She kept the character up all night saying things like “If Gaga were here, she would want me to thank her ‘little monsters'”. Gaga has thrown herself into this persona 100%. She must have been thinking about the idea for some time because Joe even has his own Twitter page which has been active since June 2010. One of “his” tweets says; “I am a man. I am a human being. I am me. And I was Born This Way”.

She tweeted on her page saying, “Thank u monsters for supporting @jocalderone attending instead of myself. He came over last night with 2 moonmen, whiskey + we watched VMAs”.

IT JUST GETS CRAZIER AND CRAZIER IN THE WORLD OF GAGA! I loved how awkward the celebrities were around her because they just didn’t know how to react. I would probably be the same!

Jessica Alba for FOUR Razzies

It must be a record or something. She wasn’t just nominated for Worst Supporting Actress ONCE, oh no, she was nominated for four different films- Little Fockers, The Killer Inside Me, Machete AND Valentine’s Day.  That’s basically ALL the movies she was in last year.

I don’t think she is a great actress but I still feel sorry for her. It’s bad enough to be nominated once, but four times is pretty bad. She was also nominated twice in 2008, three times in 2007 and twice in 2005 (for either Worst Actress or Worst Supporting Actress). Bad times. BUT she has never won though.

Also in her category this year is Cher for Burlesque, Liza Minelli for Sex and The City 2, Nicola Peltz for The Last Airbender and Barbra Streisand for Little Fockers.
