The Two Faces of January UK Premiere: Q&A

So, as you’ve seen from my picture post (here), I was at The Two Faces of January premiere in London last night and I managed to grab a quick chat with the stars Kirsten Dunst, Oscar Isaac and Viggo Mortensen. Here’s what went down….

We had a little chat about her co-star Viggo, who was in On The Road with her and her boyfriend Garrett Hedlund and what she got up when not filming on location in Greece and Crete.

What was Viggo Mortensen like as an on-screen husband?

Viggo is a very handsome man and a very talented actor so for me it was very easy and one the reasons why I wanted to do this film- to be with him.

Do any sightseeing when filming?

We lived in the sightseeing. I mean when you think about it. The Acropolis, the Parthenon , we went to all these places.

On Stars Wars: Episode VII casting.

It’s wild. I communicate with JJ a lot, right now we’re getting the story tightened. It’s more about ideas that I’ll have about like ‘What if the character can have this and this?’ and he’s so amazing because he has so much enthusiasm and he really welcomes ideas. It’s just really exciting, I can’t wait to get started.

Best adventures off set?

Oscar everybody knows now from Llweyn Davis that he’s a good musician and he and Kirsten’s boyfriend (Hedlund) sometimes did music. We’d do drinks, we were in a beautiful place. It was very difficult not to have a good time.

How do you get into the mindset of character unravelling?

I thought about people I knew who had problems with alcohol and honesty and tried to intimate certain aspects of their behaviour.
