Miley Cyrus hits back at Twitter trolls

Celebrities get abuse on Twitter all the time but that doesn’t mean they have to like it or put up with it. In this case, Miley Cyrus was getting fed up of receiving death threats online.

She specifically targets the fans of Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift because she wants everyone to be friends online, considering she is friends in real-life with those two. She tells them that being mean to another musician online doesn’t make you a good fan or a better person.

Check the stream of tweets she sent to tell them to back off:

“Everyday someone with a Swift or Gomez in there name wishes terrible things upon me (death is popular) Please Smilers [her fans] don’t ever think somehow you are supporting me by being hateful towards other artist. My fans make me proud by supporting my music & everything I do.”

“Im sure these haters would make their idols much happier tweeting bout their music rather than wishing death upon their peers like psychos. Btw im not saying Smilers can’t act cray cray too. #deaththreats #TOOOOFAR. We are all friends. Why can’t you all be?”

See- they've been friends for ages! Check Demi Lovato next to Taylor.

She phrases this so well and I am proud that she has done it. I don’t know why die-hard fans think they need to be hateful to other singers because it is just silly. The artist they love probably wouldn’t appreciate the comments their fans were making as  it makes their fanbase look bad! Fans need to sort their behaviour out. I don’t even know why Selena and Taylor fans would have a problem with Miley because she has never been mean- those three are great friends!
