Pics: GLAAD Awards 2013 Fashion

The GLAAD group campaign for equal rights in the LGBT community and their media awards commend TV show, films, musicians, books, theatres shows, articles which they believe give an accurate representation of LGBT people and their issues in life.

A lot of celebrities came out to celebrate these awards in LA last night. Not many of these people were nominated but they generally attend to raise the profile of the organisation and show their support for the LGBT community.

The show was hosted by Drew Barrymore and had performances from Glee’s Darren Criss and Kelly Rowland. Ex-President Bill Clinton was honoured with an “Advocate for Change” Award.

Here are the best and worst dressed ladies of the night.

BEST

Charlize Theron

Charlize looks stunning in this jumpsuit! Love it!

Naya Riviera

This dress accentuates her curves perfectly. I don’t like the slicked back hairstyle, but she still looks damn good.

Kelly Rowland

This is such a bold outfit. It is striking and Kelly totally works it.

Kirsten Dunst

I wasn’t sold on this at first, but the more I looked at it, the more I liked it.

WORST

Jennifer Lawrence

I’m saying this is an awful dress- I just think that Jen can do SO MUCH BETTER. The sheer top part and the shoes aren’t good. Her legs look covered in bruises too! Come on, Jen, I want to be impressed! I love her shorter hairstyle though.

Ali Larter

This is a bit too casual for the red carpet. It ruffles a lot in the middle so it looks a bit messy.

Drew Barrymore

no1

This is truly awful and she is the host! She looks like she’s wearing a mattress cover.

Maria Menounos

no4

This would have been okay if it was all long or all short- I don’t like that it is both.

Plenty of other celebrities came out to support the LGBT cause including: Leonardo DiCaprio, Alex Pettyfer, Matt Bomer, Justin Bartha, Elle Fanning, Tobey Maguire, Logan Lerman, Ashley Benson and Chris Evans. That’s quite a turn out!
