Rihanna’s mum told her off over nude pics

Rihanna posts almost-nude pictures of herself all the time and she doesn’t seem to care, but it would seem that her mum, Monica, isn’t impressed.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine UK, Rihanna revealed how her mum told her off for constantly uploading revealing pictures of herself.

She said: “My mom, she went crazy on me. She called me two days ago and reeled me in about two naked pictures [my best friend] Melissa put up on Instagram – a sneak peek from a photo book she’s making about me. I was embarrassed. I felt like I got my ass whupped in front of my class in school!”

Monica makes sure her daughter stays grounded. Rihanna continued: “She [my mum] said, ‘This was, like, a private moment and you’re just parading this around’. She humbled the f-ck out of me. I’m not afraid of any person in this world but her. I’m terrified of her!”

I’m glad her mum reminds her that she can keep parts of her life private. Rihanna also addressed the fact that she posts a lot of pictures of her smoking pot.

“That’s why I’m posting pictures of myself smoking pot, to tell the truth about myself. I’ve got so much to think about, why bring all this extra sh-t by being dishonest? Well I Instagram everything about my life, whether it’s smoking pot, in a strip club, reading a Bible verse – how crazy, I know! – or hanging out with my best friend, who happens to be Chris [Brown].”

I just wonder why she feels the need to Instagram everything- doesn’t she want to keep anything private?! In the interview, she also stuck up for her relationship with Chris but we’ve heard enough about that recently. She did say that she plans to have a child in the future, which I thought was pretty interesting.
